After a weekend of pumpkin picking, I’m orange obsessed right now, and so I thought why not bring a little pumpkin joy to my beauty routine?
So here’s my pumpkin-inspired nail tutorial…
Ok, so I know pumpkins aren’t only orange, but what screams halloween more than this kind of satsuma shade? That’s why I opted for a stand-out nail polish for the main colour.
In My Back Pocket, is a beautiful shade by O.P.I. It’s lovely and bright, perfect for bringing a touch of summer to these autumn days, and obviously it’s such a great pumpkin shade.
To finish, I added a top layer on my ring finger in this really pretty glitter polish. I used to think this varnish was reserved for the festive season, but that’s just ridiculous! Who doesn’t love a bit of sparkle all year round?
The shade is Party Shoes by Ciate. As well as loving the name, I love the way this glitter polish applies on the nails. You can basically have as much or as little glitter as you want to, by just layering the varnish as much as you want.
I think it’s great that even with such a bright undercoat, the gold glitter stands out perfectly.
If you’re feeling extra-sparkly, why not cover every nail in Party Shoes?
