I don’t think I’ve put on a face mask since before Archie was born (the horror) even though my skin most definitely needs one on a regular basis. But after recently receiving a few face masks inside my Stylist Live goody bag, I thought why not give them a whirl?
I was particularly intrigued by this Nip + Fab bubble one as I’d never seen anything quite like it before. In fact, I’ve never actually tried any of the physical masks with eye, nose and mouth holes before, only ever cream based ones, so this was totally new to me.
My skin as of late, well as of giving birth, has been looking extremely tired and is ageing me quicker than I’d like.
This was my skin before using the face mask. As you can see, I’ve been suffering with a few breakouts lately and my eye area looks particularly dark and heavy – most likely the effect of motherhood.
The face mask is really easy to use, simply tear open the packet, pick out the mask inside and unfold it. Then place onto your face, making sure you line up the eye, nose and mouth holes with your features and smooth out to ensure your whole face is covered.
You’ll notice the mask will start to create bubbles on the surface, like in this picture (which means it’s working)!
Leave the mask on for 10-15 minutes, or until all of the bubbles have risen to the surface, then remove. Massage the remaining bubbles into your face, then wash away with luke warm water.
It should leave your face feeling refreshed and renewed. For me, I felt like it really brightened up my eye area and gave me a healthier glow all over my face.
Now, one day on, my skin is feeling fantastic. I was really impressed with how quick, easy and effective this face mask was so I would most definitely recommend a bubble mask.
