There’s nothing like a bit of happy post to kick-start your morning, and I have to say this little package from Beeboobuzz did exactly that. I’ve never thought about the quality of clothing as much as I now do since becoming a mother. It’s so important to dress your baby with clothes that will be gentle on their delicate skin, so investing in quality items that you can trust is totally worth it.
When someone goes that extra mile to make you smile, that’s pretty special, and that is exactly how I felt when I opened this package. Everything from the lovely little branded stickers, to the coordinating bright tissue paper wrapped around the vests, was just perfection.
Gender stereotypical clothing seems to flood the shelves of high street stores, and while sometimes you may want something like that, it’s refreshing to see a brand adopting a unisex approach to baby wear.
Since becoming a mum myself, I’ve often found it frustrating shopping for my little boy. The lack of choice for just plain, non-fussy outfits is really annoying, which makes me love Beeboobuzz even more.
The brand as a whole is great for the conscious shopper, being made from organic cotton which has been woven, dyed and manufactured here in the UK.
To be honest it was hard choosing which set to go for, but I eventually decided upon the long-sleeved vests in the ‘cool’ colour palette. As we’re heading into the winter months, I thought the long-sleeved versions would be the most practical, plus it’s nice to see Archie looking super cosy and warm. I loved both the colour options, but the cool colours are shades I love putting Archie in, so they were an instant winner with me.
When I opened the box I certainly wasn’t disappointed with my choice. I mean, look how beautiful and vivid those colours are! The vests are incredibly soft too, which is perfect for Archie’s eczema-prone skin. I try to find super soft clothing, or good quality items for Archie so that his skin doesn’t become more irritated than usual, and the quality of these vests is clear to see.
I love attention to detail, and these sweet little labels featuring the brand bee motif are just too cute for words. I really felt like I was receiving a quality product rather than something that has been mass-produced.
The double-row of topstitching makes for a sturdy item of clothing – ideal for babies and toddlers on the move.
Due to their excellent quality, they’ll be able to withstand even the toughest of play dates.
Every little detail has been thought about with parents in mind, even down to the top-quality snappers used to fasten the vest at the crotch.
Machine washable at 30 degrees, these vests are super practical too, as we all know how much washing is required as a parent!
We opted for size 6-12 months, and even though it’s a perfect fit now, you can see that there’s still room for growth. Making these the ideal product as a gift for someone you know or for your own little one.
What’s great about these vests is that due to their colourings, they look great worn with trousers/dungarees/skirts/pinafores etc. But like any other vests, they can also be used as an undergarment to other clothing and sleepsuits.
I love the wide choice of options available thanks to the bold colours they come in, as it gives us loads of outfit scope to work with.
If you were looking for a brighter colour palette ready for the summer months, then don’t forget there is the option of the ‘warm’ pack, in both long and short sleeve varieties too.
I must say, I’ve already got my eye on the other colours in order for us to complete a little rainbow of vests in Archie’s wardrobe!
If you’re looking for a practical gift for a pregnant friend or loved one, then I would totally recommend purchasing a set of these vests.
