Since becoming a Mam, I’ve found it so easy to choose staying indoors over venturing outside. It can be so annoying trying to get you and a little one out of the door, clean, tidy, fed, watered and happy that sometimes it’s just not worth the hassle. But with staying indoors comes a reason behind some of my depression. Staring at the same four walls all day every day is not healthy in any way shape or form, so it’s been important for me to try and get out as much as I can.
But since having an excuse to get outdoors and enjoy the beautiful scenery we have on our doorstep is one of the best things about having a dog.
There’s so many beautiful places to explore and having Winston means we’re able to get out and about so much more than we ever did before. I’m not going to lie, when Chris is at work, taking him and Archie for walks by myself can be a bit of a challenge, but it’s so much fun.
I love being able to spend time together as a family, and I have to say Autumn walks have now quickly become my favourite thing. But I’m so excited to see what Winter walks have to offer…
What do you love most about Autumn?
