I’ve always loved jet setting and discovering new places around the world. There’s something so exciting about visiting somewhere for the first time, or finding new things to do somewhere you’ve been before.
I’ve been fortunate enough to venture to some spectacular places already, but there are so many places I’d still like to visit. Here are just a few…
Disneyland Paris | I think becoming a mother has made me even more eager to make a trip here some day soon. I went when I was little but apparently I spent most of the time asleep or crying over the balloon I let go of – typical Sian!
Australia (take two) | In an ideal world, Australia would be the destination I’d most like to go to. Although I’ve already been, I really want to see more of what the country has to offer, plus I’d love to be able to see my favourite Aussie again too.
The Maldives | This is probably somewhere on most people’s bucket lists, but could you blame them? I love the idea of staying in one of those little huts on the water and watching the marine life surround you. And those white sandy beaches are to die for. I guess that’s why it’s so popular as a honeymoon destination.
Iceland | Have you seen those hot springs you can take a dip in? They look amazing, don’t they? They seem so relaxing and the hotels out there look incredible. It’s also one of the places you can spot the Northern Lights, which would make for a fantastic trip.
Amsterdam | So I feel like this is just one of those places you have to visit in your lifetime. Almost like a right of passage. I’m picturing a lovely bike ride around the city and lots of coffee breaks – perfect!
Rome | In primary school history was my favourite subject and I loved learning about the Romans and their past. I’d love to explore the colosseum and pisa while eating some great pizza and ice cream – how touristy haha!
Africa | Did anyone watch the programme Wild At Heart? That cemented the fact that Africa would be an amazing place to visit for me. I love animals and I would love to go on a safari and get up close to some of the most fascinating creatures on earth.
The British Isles | Ok, so a travel bucket list doesn’t only have to include exotic places does it? Even though I’ve been lucky enough to visit many places in the UK, there are still so many places I’d like to explore.
Where would you like to travel to?
