There’s nothing I love more than a little family outing, so when my dad decided to pop down for a visit just after little Archie was born an outing to Blue Owl was definitely required. I had heard many great things about this place before paying a visit myself. A lot of my friends with kids raved about the facilities and how friendly the staff were so I couldn’t wait to give it a try.
Dad and I were most certainly made to feel welcome from the off, and the staff couldn’t do enough to assist us with the difficult task of trying to get a two-week old baby to open out their hands for a print. In fact two members of staff helped us to get the perfect prints on not just one, but four separate items!

We had so much fun making a variety of items that were available to decorate.
This is Chris’ Father’s Day present that I am super excited for him to see. When I was pregnant Chris loved feeling out for our baby’s hands punching away so I thought this was the perfect present.
I couldn’t resist making a little something for myself to cherish too, and this hanging heart was the ideal item. I couldn’t decide between whether I wanted a hand or foot print, so I went with both!
Whatever age your children are, there’s something for everyone. I’m really looking forward to when Archie can paint some of the ceramics himself as there are so many items to choose from. I even fancy having a go myself too hehe!
