This day has quickly made an appearance and it’s weird how different you look at this kind of thing once you become a parent yourself. I have a brilliant relationship with my own dad and so this has always been a day to spoil him, but now I have the role of making sure two dads are happy. My own and the man I love who I’ve watched become the most wonderful father.
I wasn’t really sure what to buy Chris on behalf of Archie. What does a two-month old baby get his dad? That’s why I opted for items I know he’ll treasure and then of course some fun things he can enjoy with Archie too.
You may have already seen my post about my trip to Blue Owl, but in case you missed it you can find it here. While I was there, I made Chris a coaster for him to take to work which features Archie’s hand print. I am so in love with the way it turned out – it was so much better than I expected! I also couldn’t resist this gorgeous baby vest for Archie to wear. Next | £4.50
We love bath time in this house, so I thought some toys for the tub would be a great idea. I’m not sure who’ll have the most fun though, Chris or Archie?!
Even though I love taking pictures and we have so many of Archie we haven’t actually printed any out yet to put around the house, so I thought this frame would be ideal for that. Although I did end up putting a scan photo in rather than a recent picture but I’ll leave it up to Chris to decide upon what should go in there!
. . .
Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing dads out there! xx
