Another week, another Water Babies class, and what a great one it was. Due to the snow, only one other baby turned up this week, so it was a lovely intimate class where we were able to see Archie’s skills in the water flourish even further.
He really is a true water baby. He just loves being in the water, under the water and around water in general. He’s far from fazed by it, instead he embraces every challenge put in front of him and excels dramatically.
He’s learning more and more every week, and now he’s even recognising what he needs to do when Chris says certain things. Like the song Humpty Dumpty that he has to sing when sat on the side of the pool. He now knows that at the end he will be brought into the water, and so we now see him pushing himself in, which is just too cute!
Archie did not one, but two underwater swims this week, and as usual, he took it all in his stride.
Look how amazing he is underwater. Eyes open, kicking off the instructor and heading straight for daddy.
As there were only two baby’s in this week’s class, Archie thrived from having lots more focus put on him. I love how he’s holding his little friend’s hand just to reassure her that everything is ok – too cute!
Look at that face! He’s always checking that I’m watching him – how could I possibly take my eyes off him?
I’ve never seen him look so chilled as he did when daddy was pulling him around while he was floating on his back.
And after that long, hard lesson a big bottle of milk is waiting for this snoozy baby. I love how chilled he is following his class.
Stay tuned for next week’s class as it will be our last lesson before the Christmas break x
